Chez nous la pluie n\u2019\u00e9tait pas banale et l\u2019on ne manquait pas de commenter son arriv\u00e9e d\u2019abord<br \/>et son passage ensuite.<\/p><p><strong>La pluie en quelques mots&#8230;<\/strong><\/p><p>Apr\u00e8s une p\u00e9riode s\u00e8che les premi\u00e8res gouttes viennent r\u00e9hydrat\u00e9es les toitures. Cela se traduisait par<br \/>un banal : tiens il pleut&#8230;<\/p><p>\u00c9tape suivante lorsque l\u2019on entend les premi\u00e8res gouttes venir s\u2019\u00e9craser au fond de la citerne :<br \/>Il pleut bien la citerne coule&#8230;<br \/>L\u2019intensit\u00e9 de la pluie ne se mesure plus alors au bruit de la citerne mais pour nous qu\u2019y habitons au bord<br \/>de la nationale devenue d\u00e9partementale et enfin route de Marseille l\u2019on quantifie la violence de ce qui \u00e0<br \/>ce moment l\u00e0 est devenu un orage en d\u00e9crivant le volume d\u2019eau empruntant la route : la route passe<br \/>pleine. Signe d\u2019une pluie forte et soutenue.<\/p><p><br \/>Sur le plus long terme un \u00e9pisode pluvieux se traduit par deux constatations. La premi\u00e8re tr\u00e8s familiale : La citerne est pleine traduisez il a bien plu. La seconde plus territoriale:les sources coulent, le ruisseau de la serre d\u00e9nomm\u00e9 aussi Pourparel coule.<br \/>C\u2019est l\u00e0 la preuve que les nappes commencent \u00e0 \u00eatre bien pleines elles aussi et laissent d\u00e9border une partie<br \/>de leur eau.<\/p><p>Cuges a aussi connu des \u00e9pisodes plus probl\u00e9matiques avec des orages violents. Les anciens se<br \/>souviennent que la violence des eaux avaient emport\u00e9 des barriques entrepos\u00e9es place de la coop\u00e9rative<br \/>jusqu\u2019au fond de la plaine. Je poss\u00e8de un champ o\u00f9 mon grand-p\u00e8re me disait avoir vu l\u2019eau arriver sauter<br \/>un mur qui aurait du la canaliser et creuser sur plusieurs m\u00e8tres une tranch\u00e9e d\u2019un m\u00e8tre de profondeur.<br \/>L\u2019eau nous r\u00e9serve parfois des surprises pas forc\u00e9ment heureuses surtout lorsque l\u2019on oublie d\u2019\u00e9couter les<br \/>\u00e9chos du pass\u00e9.<\/p><p>L\u2019on ne saurait oublier lorsque l\u2019on parle de pluie d\u2019\u00e9voquer la famille Cornille qui depuis plusieurs<br \/>g\u00e9n\u00e9rations rel\u00e8ve et consigne pour les services m\u00e9t\u00e9o les relev\u00e9s pluviom\u00e9trique. Avec eux il n\u2019est pas<br \/>question de citerne source ou ruisseau mais simplement de millim\u00e8tres.
